The sanctuary pen could be hundreds of times bigger than her Miami home and be surrounded by the ocean itself and not an actual concrete tank.

If the plan was implemented, Lolita (also known as Tokitae or Toki) might still be alive today. In the wild, killer whales are social animals who bond with their family members until death. Lolita who has been alone at Seaquarium in isolation for 40 years, is being released into the wild.
